A little peek into my birthday presents from last week.
It has kinda become a tradition for my parents to give me the spring look from Lancôme for my birthday, and this year was no exception. I’ve been absolutely in love with this palette since the first time I saw it so I cannot wait to try it out. Basically My Parisian Pastels is a palette with 9 shimmer pigments that can be used as eyeshadows, blush, or highlighter, and can be used either individually or mixed together. Lancôme has also just launched a new lip product, the Juicy Shaker which my parents also decided to give me. This is to me a very unique product that I’ve never seen before. Basically, the juicy shaker is a lip oil which has some added color pigments in it. It feels super nice on the lips, not greasy or sticky like a lip gloss, but instead really moisturizing and silky soft. On top of that, they come in some really pretty colors, all with their own unique scent. The one I got is Boom-Meringue which is a pretty pastel pink shade.
I know I’m super late to the game, but I until last week I actually didn’t own any makeup brushes from Real Techniques. Shocking, I know. So since they officially launched in Denmark last year, I decided to put them on my wishlist, and fortunately my parents ended up giving me both the Core Collection and the Starter Set.
Those were pretty much all the beauty related presents that I got. Apart from the things above, I also got a bunch of new books, bowls and a jug from Royal Copenhagen (for the home that I don’t have), a huge suitcase, and a few clothing items.
Finally, since Ollie isn’t in Denmark at the moment, he decided to surprise me with the most beautiful bouquet of lilies. Definitely makes it more bearable to be apart.
What are you all up to today?
